When we went crib shopping for our small apartment my husband and i had the same reaction whoa cribs are huge and babies are so small. I m in regional rural australia though bassinet or mini crib either way you d have to end up getting a normal size crib once they grow i guess. In the end we went another route but we d really love to hear from mini crib owners. The small size makes it more portable and easier to move around.

On the other hand a mini crib is smaller and largely portable. The mattress sizes will also differ. How did it. For example a standard crib mattress is 28 inches wide and 52 inches long.
